Abstract

At present time classic standard material names and characteristics are corresponded only to beginning of innovation process in the framework of Industry 4.0 concept. Thereby it is required to unite all profit-forming activities inside one net. The paper observes EDA operation medium that expands significantly JMatPro possibilities, and variation of material composition as a system is practically possible taking into account multi-factor features. Advantages of such approach include substantial reducing of experimental expenses in time and in investments. It is also possible to calculate the range width of thermophysical properties for further FEM simulation and computation of the process stability. Thereby all presented solutions make a hard base for acceleration and risk assurance in the research projects in the field of profit-forming activities in steel production, and they can be considered as vitally important components of the Industry 4.0 concept.
