Gornyi Zhurnal
The scope of the October 2020 Issue 10 of Gornyi Zhurnal encompasses all major subjects of its sections.
The issue opens with the selected contributions from fellows of Polyus Krasnoyarsk Company which is the largest production division of Polyus Group. The articles describe the Company’s performance, specify new large-scale projects for 2020–2022, highlight the Company’s activities in the field of sponsorship and implementation of various educational and cultural projects as well as social and economic promotion of the region, address the aspects of production, occupational and environmental safety, etc.
The article co-authored by the scientists from the Institute of Energy Research, Russian Academy of Sciences discusses the external and internal challenges governing potential risks in the long-term advance of the coal industry in Russia, offers alternative growth scenarios for the coal sector up to 2040 and offers a forecast of regional coal outputs and prices for each scenario.
The other articles are devoted to physics of rocks and processes, mineral mining, processing and use, environmental protection, etc.
