Gornyi Zhurnal
New issue of «Gornyi Zhurnal» came out of press (No. 4, 2012). Traditionally, articles are presented in black-and-white implementation and are devided by the basic journal`s parts. Subject area of published articles covers the questions of deposit`s development, processing of mineral raw materials, maintenance and modernization of equipment, ecology, etc.
Article by S. A. Ilin, V. S. Kovalenko, D. V. Pastikhin is placed in «Development of the Deposits» section. It covers the problems of open-cast method of deposit`s development. In this article are given the generalized measures, which are realised on practice for decreasing the negative impact of open-cast mining on the environment. This article is the second among all planned series.
The information about new editions in mining profile is placed in «New Literature» section. These editions are:
-the second volume of «Russian geological book of referance» under the editorship of E. A. Kozlovskiy;
-the «Basis of mining» manual by K. N. Trubetskoy and Yu. P. Galchenko;
-the «Industry processes of underground development of ore deposits» manual by G. G. Lomonosov.
