This article provides an analysis of operation of slag processing equipment in the shop of processing of metallurgical slags at Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works and efficiency of usage of BelAZ dump trucks involved in transportation of slag from the plant to the waste pit area of Magnitnaya Mount and quarry of boulder ores at “ATU” public corporation. Downtimes of automotive transport are identified and actions to reduce these delays are suggested.
