Реферат | This paper gives the results of researches, related to obtaining of compact billets from hardly-deformed mechanically alloyed aluminum-based compositions. Performance of these compositions is high, but usage of traditional methods of compacting for these materials is associated with certain difficulties and problems. The paper considers the possibility of compacting of powder billets in capsules by equalchannel angular pressing. During the implementation of this process, the billet is under the infl uence of high hydrostatic pressure and large shearing deformation. This allows to realize the intensive destruction of oxide powder particle covering fi lms, and formation of new active surfaces of contact between the particles. Implementation of such complex technological schemes of plastic deformation is impossible without preliminary determination of technological parameters of process by mathematical and physical modeling. Rheological characteristics for plastic deformation of dispersion-hardened aluminum compositions were obtained by physical simulation methods on the complex Gleeble 3800. The basic stages and peculiarities of the process were analyzed, using mathematical modeling. The powder billet compacting can be divided in two stages: one-side pressing of powder in capsule in inlet channel; and powder compacting due to the shear deformations under the pressure in channel transition zone. Experimental research results are presented. Comparative analysis of results of mathematical modeling and laboratory studies has shown that usage of mathematical model describes the behavior of workable material. |
