Реферат

Mining-geological conditions of placer deposits’ exploitation are getting worse every year. Low-grade ores containing fine gold and platinum group metals are involved in the processing. This article gives the research results of the possibility of spiral separation and jigging technology application as the main processes for concentration of fine particles of “Konder” placer deposit productive fraction. The main factors, making an influence on noble metal losses, were established on the basis of analysis of reasons and development of methods of decreasing of technological losses by application of quality control methods (Isikava diagram). As a result of experimental research, there was established that the sorbent application for floatation concentration of gold-containing materials makes possible to decrease fine gold losses in slime fractions. Modification of the surface of sorbents, which have not inherent sorption activity, allows to increase their sorption capacity and to enhance fine gold extraction to the concentrate. Thermal and chemical processing was applied for sorbents’ modification. There was established an optimal firing temperature for the growth of sorbent quality characteristics (200 оC). Optimal consumption of reagent on the basis of fatty acids complex for chemical processing is 50–100 g per ton. Application of sorption processes during the gold-bearing slime materials’ floatation makes possible to increase the extraction of fine and colloidal gold particles to the concentrate of up to 15%.
