Реферат | Technological procedure with asymmetric mould oscillations at continuous casters is unanimously considered at present time as the most effi cient and therefore the new units are manufactured with such moulds; asymmetry is related to rate of oscillations. The paper presents discussion about modernization of the existing continuous casters with moulds operating in the mode of harmonic oscillations. It is suggested that the mode of biharmonic oscillations can be taken as alternative variant for harmonic mode of oscillations. Putting this mode into practice can be achieved via replacement of the existing eccentric drives of moulds by mechanically balanced biharmonic drive described in this paper. The proposed system allows to solve the problem of development of the mechanical drive of such molud, providing its technologically eff ective biharmonic oscillations and compensating dynamical loads occurred during its oscillations. Prevention of intensive dynamic cyclic loads of construction components of a continuous caster, elimination of parasitic oscillations and crushing of levered suspension of a mould joints, compensation of dynamic loads in drive and lowering of power consumption by a mould drive can be noted as technical results of the developed mould project. Consequently, quality of metal surface and structure on continuously cast billets are improved. |
