Реферат | The results of investigations in the fi eld of dispergating of steel melts (containing carbon as much as 0.4–0.8 mass. %) using flat-die nozzle are presented. As a result, the conditions of quenching of shot particles from so-called "casting heat" has been established. It allowed to get particles' macrostructure of tempered martensite with bainite after shot tempering at 570–620 K as well as to improve product quality. At the second stage of investigations they used a disperser providing creation of divergent flow of energy carrier due to simultaneous feed of water and air. Control of water-air proportion in their consumption allowed to choose optimal conditions of obtaining particles with preset size and their cooling. This nozzle block was used in shot production, while shot is alloyed simultaneously by copper and molybdenum. Examination of shot wear resistance has shown that introduction of these additives allowed to obtain steel shot with quality comparable with the best foreign samples. Based on the results of these investigations, the resource-saving technology for steel shot production with advanced quality as well as the technological line for putting this technology into practice are suggested. This technology includes the following operations: metal preparation, Cu and Mo alloying, melt dispergation, with water and air feed and additional cooling of particles, shot water cooling, tempering and divergence of particles to separate fractions. |
