Two major technical innovations have been introduced in 1989: world wide web and compact strip production (CSP technology). HTML language for hyper-text marking is a technical standard for programming of web-pages that still determines character of information exchange in the world. The slogan of CSP-process is compatibility, thin slab casting technology allows to manu-facture practically all steel grades required by market. Module features of CSP-process adapted to the market conditions, modern power saving concept, homoge-neous rolling structure, excellent correspondence, practically approved system el-ements are described in the article.
