Реферат | The article is devoted to determination of deformation zone parameters during continuous tube rolling. Mathematical model of continuous rolling process is based on energy balance and has been subjected to a test of physical and computer simulation. This model suggests the following basic conditions: metal deformation occurs only under the effect of rolling equipment; out-of-contact deformation is absent; metal temperature and its mechanical properties are constant along rolled metal during all rolling time; calculation is conducted for the stable rolling process. The method based on the model has passed this test successively during calculation of speed rate of tube rolling at continuous mill with a floating mandrel and has been used for developing speed rate and tuning of tension between the stands for rolling of 325x8 mm tubes on the rolling mill 159-426 with retained mandrel at Vozhsky Pipe Plant. The technique has been also tested successfully during development of speed rate conditions on continuous rolling mill with retained mandrel at IPSCO Koppel Tubulars L.L.C. Works in Ambridge (USA). These calculation results differ from similar results made by finite elements method during simulation using Qform software product not more than by 5 %. It was also revealed that calculation error of extension ratio increases in linear mode with increase of the extension ratio itself and does not exceed 10 % in the range of values 1.2 – 1.35. |
