Реферат | In the crisis situation in the global and national economies in 2009–2010 and 2015–2016, many strategic programs and projects to the extent of 2020 appeared unaccomplished in Russia and in Yakutia. Vice versa, the Integrated Development Program for the Western Yakutia up to 2020 and the regional projects in the framework of the Integrated Development of Production, Transport and Power Engineering in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) up to 2020 inside the Western Yakutia enjoy mostly fruitful implementation. ALROSA group has undertaken large-scale transition to underground mining of diamonds and is developing new deposits, which has allowed the company to be among the top diamond producers in the world. Development of Talakan deposit and the Eastern Siberia–Pacific Ocean oil pipeline laying has enabled the oil industry in the Republic to become the basis for the considerable increment in the regional gross output. At the present time, the natural gas pipeline Power of Siberia to export gas from the Chayada field to the Asian–Pacific countries is launched, which will enhance the commercial and export potential of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and the Far East Federal District of Russia. Furthermore, it is supposed to materialize the project left off 2020 Strategy—the rare earth element mining at the unique Tomtor deposit to be the basic supplier of the rare metal industry under revitalization in Russia. Moreover, there are actual prerequisites for development of other types of minerals and for processing industry creation. The present authors see development prospects for the mining industry in the Western Yakutia in the form of clustering of mining branches and shaping of the international-scale Far Eastern diamond cluster, the national-scale Tomtor cluster and the regional-scale Kempendyai cluster of mineral mining and processing. |
