Реферат | The article discusses remodeling of plate feeder 1-15-90A at the Orsk Crushed Stone Plant. The feeder is an important component of grinding-and-sorting, and performance of the plant depends on the failure-free operation of the feeder. A disadvantage of the feeder design is the tooth-type coupling of the motor shaft and the high-speed shaft of gear system. During rotation of the shafts set at an angle, the tooth-type coupling induces additional loading of the shafts and supports by radial and axial forces and bending moments, which is conditioned by slippage resistance of tooth surface and nonuniform distribution of loading between the teeth. The teeth cyclically displace relative to the holder block, which promotes wearing of the teeth. The tooth-type couplings cannot attenuate shocks under impacts and pulsed loads. As a result of influence of these variable factors, the load-bearing capacity and useful life the couplings drop together with reliability and life of bearing assemblies. Another imperfection of the feeder design is the slider bearers set on the sprocket shaft. Their prime shortcomings are high loss in friction during actuation and in steady-state operation, nonuniform wear of spindles of sprocket shafts and high consumption of lubricants. Substitution of the tooth-type coupling for the yielding pin coupling and the slider bearers for the rolling bearing improved operational reliability of the feeder and shortened its unscheduled downtime. The introduction of the described engineering solutions increased production, reduced cost of crushed stone and enhanced the product profitability at the cost/benefit justification within two months. |
