Реферат

The publication is dedicated to the 55th anniversary of the formation of the chair for rolling and drawing production at the Nosov MGMI in Magnitogorsk. In those years, a large hardware production was operating in the country with a center in Magnitogorsk and Beloretsk. The chair, headed by G. E. Arkulis, a famous scientist, professor, doctor of engineering sciences, along with the training of specialists, carried out extensive scientific work together with scientists and specialists from the Irkutsk Polytechnic Institute and other related chairs, research institutes and hardware plants. G. E. Arkulis, members of his chair, students and followers made a great contribution to the development of the theory of the structure of the deformation zone during drawing in monolithic dies under conditions of uneven deformation and the design of drawing routes. The proposed approaches made it possible to calculate the stress state in the deformation zone, in contrast to the works of S. I. Gubkin, I. L. Perlin and other researchers that were active at that time, which allowed only a qualitative assessment. The use of modern computer technology makes it possible to study in detail the stress-strain state at each point of the deformation zone during drawing in monolithic and roller dies. The successful development of the scientific direction of the chair made it possible to develop and introduce into production methods for designing resource-saving modes and drawing routes for high-quality wire for various purposes and calibrated steel of round and shaped profiles. New methods for production of wire and calibrated steel have been developed. New models make it possible to take into account the microstructure of the metal being processed, to evaluate the fracture criterion and force conditions for both round and shaped wire. On the basis of simulation, it is possible to create a digital twin of the process for practicing drawing modes. New methods for the production of wire and calibrated steel have been developed.
