The work is devoted to the study of the effect of a plasticizer based on adipic acid diethyl ether (DEAC) on the structure and properties of an anticorrosive zinc silicate coating. These coatings have proven themselves in the oil and gas industry, where they are successfully used to protect pipelines, drill pipes, tubing and other objects from underground corrosion in various coating systems as a primer layer. The physico-chemical properties of zinc silicate coatings are greatly influenced by various plasticizers that allow changing their technological parameters in a wide range (for example, drying time, conditional viscosity). In the course of the study, the effect of a plasticizer based on DEAC on the physico-chemical properties of the anticorrosive coating and the effect of additives on the silicate module was determined. Various coating methods have been worked out and comparative data with conventional zinc silicate coating have been obtained. The influence of DEAC on the drying time of the coating and the conditional viscosity is determined. Graphical dependences of titrimetric analysis for silicate binder samples are presented. Experimental samples have been prepared on steel plates (steel grade St3), the technology of preparation and coating is described. The results of the experimental samples were studied using a Thermo Fisher Scientific Quatro C electron microscope with a secondary electron detector. A comparative analysis of the results and the effectiveness of the use of DEAC in the synthesis of silicate binder for anticorrosive zinc silicate coating is carried out. The researches were carried out using D. Mendeleev Center for collective use of scientific equipment, within the framework of the project No. 075-15-2021-688. |
