Presented the techniques of calculating and designing the drilling and blasting initiation of the salt and gas outburst while crossing by the mining operations of the outburst hazardous geological faultings, developed by the authors and confirmed by the industrial tests in the conditions of potash mines. Recommended the optimum parameters of forming the cylindrical holes and outlining the roadways with a set of 3–4 drills with a diameter of 130 мм, depth 3,0 м and cut blasters to be exploded within a certain sequence.
