The paper is about development of chair of hydrogeology and engineering geology of the Chita State University. The basic directions of scientific and pedagogical activity of teachers of the chair are considered. Features of training of mining engineershydrogeologists and geologists are described. The analysis of their demand at the enterprises of the Zabaikalye Territory and other regions is given.
