The experience of creation and effective operating of the mining faculty at Petrozavodsk state university branch on the base of scientific and technological potential of Mining institute of the mining institute of Kola scientific center of the Russian Academy of Sciences has been introduced. Integration of sciencec and education provides preparation of modern specialists of mining matter with higher education for Murmansk region one of the largest mining region in Russia.
