The results of pilot-industrial works of development of the new class of bottom blocks for aluminium electrolyzers and their carbon paste are presented. It has been shown, that usage of graphitized blocks in production instead of petroleum coke antracite with definite pertographic composition provides new complex of properties better correspondin operating conditions of powerful electrolyzers.
