The paper observes different aspects of up-to-date tendencies in putting into practice innovative metallurgical processes and technologies, such as endless band rolling, hot rolling of wide strip, cold strip rolling, development of infrastructure of rolling mills, simulation of rolling processes, energy-saving furnaces for forging and rolling facilities, application of Ni alloys for aircraft industry.
