Сurrent conditions of technique and technologies of blasting works in open-cast mines are analysed. Advantages of switch to usage of untrotyl granulated and emulsion ВВ, methods of an estimation of optimum degree of explosion crushing of rocks, the main directions of the further development of drilling and blasting complex in open cut mining are shown.
