Реферат The VDEh working group "Fluid Mechanics and Flow Simulation" is concerned with the application of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) in the field of metallurgical process engineering. The methods used are analyzed, current flow related problems in steelworks are discussed, and the exchange of information between the group members is encouraged. In this paper some of the topics the group recently worked on are presented.
