In this article the operating experience of BELAZ dump trucks at OJSC “Kovdorski GOK” from the first MAZ-525 dump trucks to modern dump trucks BELAZ-75139 with AC/AC transmission KTA-136 produced by OJSC “Silovye Mashiny” is cited.
Currently the main products operated at Kovdorski GOK are dump trucks BELAZ-75131 with payload capacity of 130-136 tonnes. But with development of serial production of BELAZ-75139 on OJSC “Belarusian Autoworks” in 2011, according to plans for development Kovdorski GOK is planning to operate dump trucks BELAZ -75139 with AC/AC transmission KTA-136 produced by OJSC “Silovye Mashiny”. Technical characteristics of dump trucks BELAZ-7513 series with electromechanical transmission are presented.
Operating characteristics of dump trucks BELAZ-75131 and BELAZ-75139 for 2008-2010 years are presented. Operating experience of BELAZ-75139 indicates the exceeding of average characteristics on the fleet of serial dump trucks. Application of KTA-136 transmission makes it possible to improve traction and dynamic performance, manoeuvrability, antislipping properties. The absence of switching devices in power circuits and absence of brush-collector unit in traction motors can significantly reduce the cost of maintenance and repair.
