Under the conditions of recent standards of subsurface resources management, the main problems are the risks that can occur during the exploration of new mineral deposits. These risks were formely acknowledged by government.
The article consideres the aims, which are related to identification and assessment of geological and mine risks during the exploration of potassium deposits. According to the presented research data, the geological and mine risks are rated in whole and referring to the Eastern part of Nezhin section of Starobin deposit.
