According to the full scale experiment on the «Yubileynyy» open pit (Aykhal Ore Dressing and Processing Enterprise of «ALROSA» JSC), there was defined the dependence of the actual and specific consumption of fuel from the height of rock mass lifting. Taking into account this experiment, there was also defined the reduction coefficient of the operating time index, concerning the maintenance overhaul (MO) (MO-1 to MO-2 by 3,6% and MO-3 by 9,6%) of the main parts of the prospective models of mine dump trucks «UnitRigMT3300 AC» and «BelAZ-75137». The diesel engine is the basic unit, according to which, the downtime of dump truck in repair area makes to 50%. Taking into account the increasing of downtime in the repair area and increase of the costs of service parts on the operation hour of engine, the rate of 26 th. moto-hours corresponds to the rational value of the operating time of MO of engine. Introduction of new rates made it possible to decrease the costs of one MO of engine by 30%. According to the fuel consumption, since October 2012, the standard of the MO rhythm of the main parts and units of mine dump trucks «UnitRigMT3300 AC» and «Bel AZ-75137» has been introduced into the motor depot of technological transport of Aykhal Ore Dressing and Processing Enterprise.
