Gornyi Zhurnal
The 6-th issue of Gornyi Zhurnal (Mining Journal) (June, 2013) is devoted to the 25-th anniversary of Mining Institute of Ural Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences.
The complimentary address to the readers of this issue is written by Academician K. N. Trubetskoy (Chairman of the Scientific Council of Russian Academy of Sciences on the problems of mining sciences).
This issue includes the articles, which characterize the achievements of the personnel of the Mining Institute, which have been cumulated for 25 years of works in fundamental and applied mining sciences.
The Institute has been successfully developing the researches of rational and safe subsoil use and monitoring of geosystems during the subsoil use. This Institute is a leader in mining geophysics, aerology and geomechanics.
Close attention is given to the personnel training. According to this, the institutional and academical chair was created in the Perm National Research Polytechnic University.
