August (2013) issue consists of two volumes, it's Gornyi Zhurnal (Mining Journal) No. 8(1) and Gornyi Zhurnal (Mining Journal) No. 8(2).
Gornyi Zhurnal (Mining Journal) No. 8(1) (2013) is devoted to the 55th anniversary of Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combinat which is the largest mining and processing plant of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
This issue includes the articles, describing operation of the combinat and characterizing the prospects of its modernization, technical re-armament and innovative development of production. The realized projects of development of new deposits , construction of mining complexes and improvement of technological processes of mining and concentrating technological stages are submitted in the published materials.
Questions of operation and technological features of the TsPT-ruda (conveyor ore transportation) complex with the semi-steep KNK-270 conveyor at "Muruntau" quarry providing uninterrupted transportation of mined rocks are taken comprehensively up.
