This year is the 130-th anniversary of leading scientist: academician Aleksandr E. Fersman. Together with the Kirovsk Department of Culture, the editorial board decided to republish the 2011-th issue, devoted to the 80-th anniversary of Kirovsk, with addition of several articles.

 

Enthusiasm and thirst of knowledge of Aleksandr E. Fersman became the inspiration to the investigators, who came to the Khibiny mountains and found the rich resources of apatite-nepheline ores, forming the basis of chemical industry of Russia.

 

Other articles of this issue tell about life and creative work of two artists: Marina G. Time-Blok and Petr V. Novikov.
