Gornyi Zhurnal
The first issue of "Gornyi Zhurnal" (Mining Journal) (January, 2015) includes the traditional subject area.
The articles of this issue share the following aspects:
- methodological approach to researches in the area of subsoil mastering and basic factors, making an influence on formation of mining complexes;
- method of numerical FE modeling of stress-strain state of near-edge massif of rocks during combined open-cast and underground geotechnology, which allows not only to forecast the value-added tax of rock massif, but also to do the informed choice of types and support parameters of development workings of stopes in open-pit influence area;
- engineering solutions on improvement of design of open-pit complexes of cyclical-and-continuous method, which allow to increase their productivity considerably;
- results of scientific-practical research of minimization of defects of natural diamond crystals during drilling and blasting crushing of kimberlite ores in deep open pits of JSC «ALROSA»;
- modern state of extraction and processing of iron ores and iron ore raw materials in Russia;
- geocryologic characteristics of arctic, subarctic and temperate areas of Russia, assessment of gold heap leaching resources on their territories, basic ways of fundamental researches and results of analysis of existing experience of heap leaching in severe Russian climatic conditions;
- technical and technological peculiarities of open-pit hydraulic and mechanical excavators and methodological approach to the choice of the type of equipment, which is the most suitable for certain exploitation conditions;
- issues of provision of industrial and ecological safety.
The section «Abroad» shows the comprehensive illustrated research, summarizing the history of appearance and development of diamond trade in coastal zone of Namibia shelf.
