This issue of the journal «Non-ferrous Metals» shows the article about the method of assessment of corporate investments in development of human capital for non-ferrous metallurgy.

 

The section «Heavy non-ferrous metals» shows the articles, written by the members of Hydrometallurgy Department of Scientific and Production Association «RIVS».

 

The section «Material science» shows the articles of the members of the chair «Physical problems of Material Science» (National Research Nuclear Univerasity «MEPhI»), which worked in the area of modern material science of design and functional materials for exploitation in extreme conditions and nuclear-energetic units. According to this, there are given the results of development and obtaining of rapidly-quenched amphorous and nano-structured alloys-solders for high-temperature sensitive welding of materials of reaction zones of nuclear reactors and another energy-intensive equipment and series of structure-phase researches by zirconium alloys (the basic metal of reaction zones of thermal neutron reactors).
