Gornyi Zhurnal
The 7-th issue (July 2015) is devoted to the 190-th anniversary of Gornyi Zhurnal (Mining Journal).
The first historical article of this issue shows a contribution of the Journal in Russian mining development.
Most articles of the Journal are written by the leading Russian miners, scientists and academicians. There are discussed the prospects of innovation development of Russian mining industry, popularization of scientific-technical knowledge in the area of geology and mining.
A large section if the issue (compiled by the executive officers and specialists of mining industrial Russian complex) shows the assessment of the present and future of Russian mineral resource base, ways of its efficient mastering and reproduction. Analysis covers the oil and gas, coal, uranium-extraction, iron-ore, gold mining, mining-chemical and peat industries, and raw material base of Russian construction industry.
