Gornyi Zhurnal
The September 2018 issue of the Mining Journal (No. 9) is devoted to the 60th anniversary of the Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combinat—a leader of the mining industry in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The issue starts with the article by K. S. Sanakulov, CEO of Navoi MMC, providing a detailed description of diversified activities of the business entity. Innovations are displayed in the article prepared by N. P. Snitka, Chief Engineer of NMMC. The advance in the science and technology is in many ways governed by the fruitful cooperation between NMMC and research institutions in Uzbekistan, Russia and in the West, and this subject has also found its place on the pages of the Journal. The technological novelties implemented and materialized at NMMC are grouped in traditional sections of the Journal about mineral reserves, their mining, integrated processing and use, as well as the related equipment and materials.
It is anticipated that the articles published in this issue will kindle interest of the specialists–readers of the Mining Journal.
