— the description of current resources and reserves of hydrocarbons on Sakhalin shelf, prospects and trends of their development, as well as feasibility of creating large multifunction hubs of gas and oil production;
— the applicability of in situ gold leaching technology in the Kumak ore field, which would enable efficient gold production on a commercial scale towards ample supply of mineral resources in the Orenburg Region;
— the assessment of man-made environmental load in terms of mining and processing waste management on the Kola Peninsula;
— the report on the full-scale trial of high-tensile surface mesh MINAX with wire diameter of 3 and 4 mm in rockburst-hazardous Kirov and Taimyr Mines, as well as the data of pilot studies and industrial tests on gold extraction from buried offshore placer of the Ryveen River in the area of the former Polyarny Mining and Processing Works;
— the brief review of research into automation of operating procedure for wet magnetic separation of iron ore with the description of the automated monitoring function chart and its operation;
— the details of Sino-Russian Joint Scientific-Technical Forum on Deep-Level Rock Mechanics and Engineering and its activities with synopsis of the scope and basic results of papers presented under six major topics within the Forum’s program.
