Chernye Metally
The third issue of the journal «Chernye Metally» is opened by the publication «Metallurgy in the XXI Century: Challenges, Personnel Perspectives» dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the MSTU named after G.I. Nosov, and a complete collection of articles will be published in the IV quarter 2019.
Comparison of the performance of blast furnaces of the world, as well as the main state-of-the-art methods to study the unused residue from the pulverized coal blown into a blast furnace, are presented in the section «Production of cast iron».
The section «Foundry production and metalworking» is presented by studies of domestic authors, who examined the peculiarities of the influence of a steels chemical composition on hot plasticity of solidifying continuously cast billets for production of seamless pipes, proposed new nonlinear approximations of a steel hardening zone under rod tension in the form of a power series with an argument bias, as well as the technology for producing castings for manufacture of cutting blades of tillage machines working bodies, which enable to increase their operational reliability.
In the «Metallurgy and Automotive» section, specialists of Thyssenkrupp Hohenlimburg GmbH examined new features of high-strength micro-alloyed steels used in the industry.
Experts of NITU MISiS and OJSC VILS presented a publication in the «Additive Technologies» section devoted to the study of the process fщк obtaining cellular structures from corrosion-resistant 03Kh16N15М3 (316L) steel by the selective laser melting method.
The «Digital technologies» section addresses application of digital technologies and their new opportunities in foreign metallurgy.
The issue is finished by the «Personnel Policy» section, which highlights matters of advanced training of the metallurgical enterprises maintenance personnel, as well as the modernization of laboratory chemical workshops for future bachelor-metallurgists.
