The March 2020 Issue of Mining Journal offers articles devoted to different areas of research.
The article entitled as Development Prospects for the Mineral Reserves and Mineral Resources of Industry in the Perm Krai by Permgeolnerud JSC’s CEO describes history of the company and the major areas of its activities. Much attention is given to mineral deposits in the Perm Krai and to the intense conversion of mineral reserves to mineral resources.
In the Section Economy, Organization and Management, an interest-awaking piece of work accomplished by the fellows of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation proposes some methods aimed to attract investment in gold production with regard to effective legislation of various countries. The intention of the article is to develop practical guidance on regulation in ICO (Initial Coin Offering) in Russia as an alternative way of investment attraction. In the Section Development of Deposits the researchers from the Institute of Mining, Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences put forward a method for abating production-specific and commercial risks in open pit mining.
The resume of activities of the Second Technical Committee on Geomechanics held by NUST MISIS in January 2020 seems to deserve attention. The Technical Committee provided an opportunity for discussion of challenges in geomechanics with an emphasis laid on the inter-disciplinary approaches to understanding of recent problems in science and technology.
The other dedicated publications of this issue will also be beneficial in theoretical research and practical activities of Journal’sReaders.
