Gornyi Zhurnal
The August 2020 Issue of Gornyi Zhurnal offers the current picture of mining industry in Azerbaijan.
Geologists from Russia and Azerbaijan have been tied together by long-standing bonds of friendship and cooperation. Today the teams of Russian and Azerbijanian professionals implement a number of R&D projects.
The issue opens with a description of the current situation and prospective avenues of cooperation between theoreticians and practitioners from Russia and Azerbaijan in the field of research, education and engineering in mining. Furthermore, the projects of geological exploration, particularly in the Caspian region, prediction of mineral occurrences and digital technology innovations are discussed.
The articles in this issue define the mineral reserves and resources of Azerbaijan, as well as the mining prospects and research findings in the field of oil and gas geology, exploration and appraisal.
