Tsvetnye Metally
In the focus of this issue is the Saint Petersburg School of Pyro- and Hydrometallurgy of Non-Ferrous Metals. The articles of the issue were prepared by research teams led by distinguished metallurgists Tsemekhman and Shneerson.
The Pyrometallurgy section features articles that examine the properties of Cu – Fe – Ni – Ssystem; oxidative roasting of copper concentrate; catalytic conversion of Vanyukov furnace reduced sulfurous gas; the use of metallurgical equipment and processes for solid waste processing.
The articles published in the Hydrometallurgy section examine different aspects related to pressure oxidation of non-ferrous metals materials, which include limonite ores, flotation concentrates obtained from mixed ores, tin-copper tailings, polymetallic concentrates and middlings, double refractory ores, carbonaceous ores.
