Chernye Metally
The issue is dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the Chernye Metally journal and consists of articles written by members of its editorial board.
The issue begins with an article on the history and prospects of development of the «Chernye Metally» journal, also provides information on the editorial board membership and areas of cooperation of the journal with enterprises, universities, research and design organizations.
The "Experience of cooperation with partners - universities, research centers and metallurgical forums" section presents articles on cooperation of Nosov MSTU and JSC "RosNITI" with the « Chernye Metally» journal, as well as reports presented at the first international conference «Clean steel: from ore to rolled metal – 2020».
In the «Training and personnel policy» section an article was published by the journal`s editor-in-chief, devoted to raising the prestige of professions of miner and metallurgist, prospects for development of the mining and metallurgical industry and the introduction of new technologies.
The «Metallurgy» section presents articles on promising areas of development of cast iron, application of modeling methods to assess the quality of welded pipes and increase the efficiency of sheet metal production with a thickness of 60 to 100 mm with thermochemical treatment, including accelerated cooling.
The «Metal Science» section is devoted to methods of express identification of metals and alloys in industrial water, the use of laser welding for new austenitic cryogenic corrosion-resistant steels, as well as the assessment of microstructural heterogeneity of sheet metal.
The «Ecology and recycling» section, which is devoted to up-ti-day methods of cleaning toxic emissions from ferrous metallurgy enterprises, finishes the issue.
