Chernye Metally
The journal "Chernye Metally" No. 7-2022 was published, which is mainly dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Vyksa branch of NUST "MISiS". As part of the anniversary selection, 4 articles were published, prepared jointly by specialists from the branch and the Vyksa Metallurgical Plant. These articles describe production technologies, processing modes, mechanical properties and microstructure of cast thin slabs, welded and seamless pipes.
The issue is headed with a publication by JSC Tulachermet specialists on hot repairs of blast furnace linings; one more information material about the technical achievements of this plant will be published in the September issue of the journal "Chernye Metally".
As usual, the journal presents articles on metal forming. In this issue, authors from the Ural Federal and Magnitogorsk State Technical Universities, as well as JSC RusNITI, inform about new technologies for channel rolling, wire drawing, and pipe pressing, respectively.
The same issue contains publications in the sections "Foundry", "Heating and heat treatment", "Metal science and metallography" and "Energy", prepared by specialists from the Chuvash State, Siberian State Industrial, Tomsk Polytechnic, Moscow State Construction, Magnitogorsk State Technical Universities and Naberezhnye Chelny Institute (branch) of Kazan Federal University.
The journal also publishes a report on the international forum "Dialogue of Metallurgists: Industry Development Forecast until 2030", which was held in Moscow in April 2022.
