Gornyi Zhurnal
The new issue of «Gornyi Zhurnal» came out. The subject of the issue is the prospects of developing the mineral resourses of the continental shelf of Russia and World Ocean.
This issue is prepared by the staff members from All-Russian Scientific Research Institute for Geology and Mineral Resources of the World Ocean, named after its irreplaceable director for three decades, academican Igor Sergeevich Gramberg, one of the coryphaeus of Russian geology of the XX century. The first article of the issue is devoted to I.S. Gramberg`s 90-th anniversary.
The welcoming speech of Head of the Agency for Subsurface Use A. A. Ledovskikh, opens the issue.
The materials of the issue are divided into three rubrics: Mineral and Raw Material Potential of the World Ocean, Development of Deposits of Solid Minerals of Shelf and Hydrocarbon Resources of the Arctic Shelf of Russia.
