Abstract | The most complex problem of the environmental activities of Kovdor Ore Dressing and Processing Enterprise is the protection of the regional hydrosphere from the polluted industrial discharges. The basic sources of the pollution of regional hydrosphere are: water, discharged from the open pit; filtration waters from the tailing dump; and drainage effluents of the technological shops and infrastructure subdivisions, situated on the industrial area of the enterprise. The polluted industrial waters are accumulated in four (No. 1, 2, 3, 6) discharges into natural water bodies. These discharges are under the control and responsibility of Kovdor Ore Dressing and Processing Enterprise. The article shows the basic directions of scientific-research, experimental, design and exploration works. There are also considered the planned investment projects on the protection of natural commercial fishing water bodies from the pollution. These projects are planned to be realized by the cardinal decreasing of the discharges of waste waters and the creation of the original systems of their treatment in the most problem controlled discharges. |
