Abstract |
The developed design of high-productive pneumatic columnar flotation machines CFM (КФМ) defines the usage of two aeration zones. The first zone formes the airfloccules, which consist of micro bubbles. The amount of these bubbles is by 30 times more than similar formations in other designs. The machines are equipped with modern automatic systems, based on the programmed controllers with finger tip control, which make it possible to maintain the set parameters. In comparison with the columnar flotation machine CFM-1400VMG (КФМ-1400ВМГ), the pneumatic columnar flotation machine FP 80 (ФП 80) has smaller size of work chamber (by 5 times) and smaller height (by 2 times). By-turn, the columnar flotation machine CFM-1400VMG has more high production efficiency than the pneumatic columnar flotation machine FP 80 (by 2 times, both by the initial pulp, and by froth). The columnar flotation machine CFM-1400 (КФМ-1400) was introduced at the concentration plant (“Svyatogor” JSC), which processes the pyrrhotite containing copper-zinc ores, which are difficult for concentration. During the concentration of such copper-zinc ores, the pneumatic columnar flotation machine CFM-1400M (КФМ-1400М) presented itself as high-efficient flotation apparatus, which simultaneously accelerate the flotation of copper, zinc minerals and depressing pyrrhotite. Due to the introduction of columnar flotation machine, there was succeeded to increase the extraction of copper (by 3.4%), zinc (by 5.5%), with simultaneous increasing of the quality of copper (by 3% of copper) and zinc (by 1.5% of zinc) concentrates. Taking into account the positive effect from the introduction of the first machine, two addition apparatuses were assembled in 2012, in the concentration scheme of this ore: — one apparatus in the cycle of copper flotation for increasing of the copper concentrate quality and obtaining of the pyrrhotite-containing product, which has less copper and zync; — one apparatus in the cycle of the “zinc head” flotation. |
