Materials on mineral resources of the Southern Ural are presented and theoretical bases of solution of the problem of raw-materials supply for the metallurgical complex of OJSC “Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works” are stated. Dynamics of growth of own raw-material base in the last two years is shown. Variants of increase of productivity of crushing dressing factory № 5 are presented. Based on previous studies, the basic scheme of processing of titanomagnetite ores to produce conditioned iron-vanadium and ilmenite concentrates is offered.
