Abstract | The chromatography mass spectrometry method was used to study the composition of hydrocarbons of crude oils and dispersed organic matter of rocks from basement, oligocene and miocene of the “White Tiger” deposit. All crude oils with hydrocarbons include alkanes, alkylcyclohexanes, methylalkylcyclohexanes, steranes, sekohopanes, sesqui-, tri- and pentacyclic terpanes, alkylbenzenes, and bi-, tri-, tetra- and pentacyclic condensed aromatic structures. The closeness of the composition of crude oils and dispersed organic matters of rocks from oligocene and basement, shows that they have genetic relationship. The founded differences may be the consequence of its less thermal transformation of crude oils from miocene and processes of biodegradation in reservoirs. The composition of biomarkers indicates on the initial conditions for accumulation of oil source organic matter of all crude oils, similar to the sedimentation conditions of oligocene-lower miocene from this investigated area. |
