This article shares the basic technical decisions and technical and economical results of a development project of Kostomuksha open pit, which was carried out by «SPB-Giproshakht» company. The substantiation of a choice of open pit equipment is presented along with the recommended conversion to the usage of more powerful excavators and dump trucks.
