Abstract

Ingrained and cuprous ores of Norilsk industrial region are very important for manufacturing of non-ferrous and precious metals of Polar Division of “Norilsk Nickel” MMC. In prospect, after finishing of rich ores development, ingrained and cuprous ores will become a single source of raw materials for manufacturing of marketable products. Both chemical and mineralogical composition and nature of adjoining rocks describe the variety of Norilsk ores. Ingrained ores of Norilsk-1 deposit and richingrained and cuprous ores of Talnakh and Oktyabrskoe deposits are the initial raw materials of Norilsk concentration plant. Ingrained ores of Norilsk copper-nickel deposits, which are involved into the extraction process, contain the most large quantity of concentration of platinum group metals, than all copper-nickel deposits and most every platinum-metallic deposits in the world. Cuprous ores are the most complex geological formations within the Talnakh ore cluster. Searching of the ways of increasing of concentration efficiency of ingrained and cuprous ores, conductive to the growth of extraction level of non-ferrous and noble metals, are the basic directions of researches of specialists of Laboratory of Engineering Maintenance of Production (Production Association of Concentration Plants of Polar Division of “Norilsk Nickel” MMC). There are considered the operating technologies of processing of various types of ore and anthropogenic raw materials at Norilsk concentration plant. A range of engineering and technological activities, directed on increasing of technical and economic indices of raw materials processing is proposed on the basis of the following activities:
— technological monitoring of processes;
— researches of substantial composition of raw materials;
— analysis of leading Russian and global experience of construction and reconstruction of non-ferrous metallurgy enterprises.
Most activities are realized in the short terms. These activities either have already been successfully introduced in operating industry of Norilsk concentration plant, or will be realized soon.
