Abstract | Chair of Heavy Non-ferrous Metals Metallurgy of Ural Polytechnic Institute (now Ural Federal University named after the first President of Russia B. N. Yeltsin) was created only three years earlier than Ufaley Nickel Combine. Collaboration of the Institute and Plant began in the 1920-s and was carried out in two directions: personnel training and scientific and research work. This productive collaboration of collectives in the area of education, science and production has been continuing for many years. |
