Abstract | Forecasting of expected ore concentration indices is a necessary element of increasing of technological process efficiency. For this purpose, results of geological and technological mapping of deposits can be applied within efficient and prospective planning. Geological and technological mapping is provided by systematic works on researching of spatial variability of chemical and mineral contents and technological properties of ores in ore bodies. Together with the depth of occurrence, there takes place the considerable changing in relations and nature of distribution of grades in ore bodies, in comparison with superposed horizons. This changing leads to the worsening of technological properties of ores. Analysis of real volumes of ore extraction from mining units of ore bodies with analytic database formation is carried out for the purpose of definition of ore charge composition by geological and technological properties and its influence on index of nickel extraction into the finished concentrate. There is shown the sequence and methodology of analytic databases formation, calculations accomplishment and results application. The carried out calculations and analysis have shown the influence of irregularity of volumes of ore extraction from mining units in ore bodies on changeability of substantial composition parameters and technological properties of raw materials, supplied to processing at concentration plant. Application of real-time forecast on the basis of mathematical processing methods gives an efficient information about parameters of substantial composition of extracted ore, which is going to be processed at concentration plant in the nearest time (in 2–3 days). This will make it possible to carry out the opportune corrections of technological modes. |
