Abstract |
The following directions of rational use of brown coals of the south of Far East are considered in this article: -briquetting of brown coal fines; -mastering of metal potential of ash slag wastes. There are given the geological conditions of occurrence and qualitative characteristics of brown coals of Sutarskoe and Ushumunskoe deposits. Introduction of additives, which improve the interconnection between filler and binder phases, was substantiated during the briquetting of brown coal fines for the purpose of increasing of strength properties of briquettes (abradability, compression resistance). Granulometric composition of fuel brick was researched by the method of laser-diffraction analysis. There was developed the flowsheet of joint briquetting of coal fines and technical hydrolytic lignin. Brown coals and coal ash of researched deposits contain increased and industrially significant concentrations of noble, rare, rare-earth and other metals, which makes it possible to consider the foregoing deposits as possible non–traditional sources of metals during the complex development of deposits. There are described the forms of localization of metals in coals. There was researched the content of gold and platinum metals in coal ash and adjoining rocks. There is given the experience of Institute of Mining of Far Eastern Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences in consecutive extraction of metals from the ash of Primorskaya state district power station, which makes it possible to make the conclusions about real possibilities of complex extraction of metals. |
