Реферат

Electrode materials manufactured by self-propagating high-temperature synthesis (SHS) technology were used for treatment of rolling rolls of white iron. The features of the formation of electrospark coatings on substrates made of white iron have been studied in the conditions of varying the energy processing modes in the range of 0.1–6 J. White iron SPKhN-60 (including 3.1% Fe, 1.89% Si, 0.56% Mn, 0.4% Cr and 0.9 % Ni) was used as substrate material (for cathodes), while electrode materials (anodes) were presented by STIM (synthetic hard tool material) alloys, manufactured via SHS technology. The structure, composition and properties of the formed electrospark coatings manufactured under the optimal mode (E = 0.4 J) were investigated. It is shown that electrospark treatment by carbide electrodes leads to increase hardness, heat resistance and wear resistance of the samples made of white iron. It was established thatelectrospark iron processing provides wear lowering by 2.5 times, and wear speed of coatings of SHS electrodes is less than this for coatings made of conventional T15K6 alloy. Electrode materials STIM-11 (TiB2-NiAl) and STIM-40NA (TiC-NiAl) are recommended for the treatment of rolling rolls.
