Abstract | For 30 years of exploitation, the depth of Muruntau open pit has been increased by 7.2 times, average distance of transportation into dump has been increased by 3.1 times, and average carrying capacity of dump trucks has been increased by 5 times. Since 1984, cyclical and continuous method has been introduced, which became the logical continuing of evolution of tchnological transport at Muruntau open pit. There was defined that variation of cargo flow in the system of cyclical and continuous method during one turn makes up 31%. This leads either to underloading of conveyor transport, or to impossibility of receiving of a part of dump trucks in the peak hours. Introduction of intermediate stores between cyclical and continuous transport made it possible to increase the exploitation productivity of cyclical and continuous method by 12%. Besides, increasing of efficiency of operation of cyclical and continuous method was reached due to the following operations: |
